Anatolica

The journal Anatolica is published annually (since 1967) under the aegis of the Netherlands Institute in Istanbul. The Editorial Board welcomes scholarly papers on the history and archaeology of Anatolia and adjacent regions from prehistory to the Ottoman era.

General information

Anatolica is NINO’s periodical on the civilizations of Western Asia, annually published in May/June under the aegis of the Netherlands Institute in Turkey. (Annuaire international pour les civilisations de l’Asie antérieure, publié sous les auspices de l’Institut historique et archéologique néerlandais à Istanbul.

Anatolica is indexed and abstracted in Bibliographie linguistique/Linguistic Bibliography; International Bibliography of Periodical Literature on the Humanities and Social Sciences/IBZ online; Index Islamicus; L'Année Philologique; Scopus; Thomson Scientific Links.

Anatolica is a blind peer-reviewed journal.

Guidelines for authors

The call for contributions for Anatolica Volume 49 (2023) is closed.

Starting from Volume 50 (2024), Anatolica’s editorial base returns to the Netherlands Institute in Turkey; guidelines for authors are on the NIT website.
