General images, people, culture, and landscapes in Palestine
Most of these pictures fall under the heading of “human interest”. Prof. Böhl, being a biblical scholar as well as an orientalist, added some appropriate biblical references to certain scenes. Interesting are some pictures Böhl took of the damage caused by the big earthquake in Palestine in 1927.
