The Nile in Transition from Ancient Times to the Present (special focus Nubia)

24 March 2026, organised by IIAS: hybrid lecture and in‑person guided tour of the Nubia collection at RMO in Leiden. Miriam Müller and Daniel Soliman will examine how the Nile River has shaped life in Egypt from the fourth millennium BCE to the present-day era of the Aswan High Dam.
